This year has seen four Arab states – the UAE, Bahrain, Sudan, and Morocco – normalise relations with Israel under the so-called Abraham Accords, breaking 26 years of stalled diplomatic progress in the region. The Accords have had profound results already, most recently with Sudan being removed from the US state sponsors of terror list, while Morocco has gained new diplomatic support for its dispute in Western Sahara.
